Privacy policy

Updated on November 4, 2026.

Contraponto Brasil does not require registration or collect names, emails or documents from visitors. This policy explains the little technical data involved, the use of cookies, including advertising cookies, and how to exercise your rights under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Law 13,709/2018, the LGPD).

Who is responsible

The data controller is Contraponto Brasil's editorial lead, named in the site's Method tab.

What data is processed

Ads and third-party cookies

To support the project, the site shows Google AdSense ads. Therefore:

Ads are chosen by Google, not by Contraponto. The presence of an ad does not mean Contraponto endorses the advertiser, and no advertiser influences the files or the analysis.

Legal bases

Technical access data is processed on the basis of the legitimate interest of keeping the site running and secure (LGPD, art. 7, IX). Personalized advertising cookies depend on your choice, which can be refused or withdrawn at any time through the links above or your browser settings.

Who the data is shared with

Only with the services that make the site work: Cloudflare (hosting), Google Fonts (fonts) and Google and its advertising partners (ads). These services may process data outside Brazil, under their own privacy policies. Contraponto does not sell anyone's data.

Your rights

Under the LGPD (art. 18), you can request confirmation that data is processed, access, correction, anonymization, deletion, information about sharing and withdrawal of consent. Requests can be sent through the contact listed in the Method tab. You can also file a complaint with the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).
